bridges

I continue to go through my old photos; keeping, discarding, keeping, discarding… it’s the most tedious and exciting task at the same time. Tedious because most photos aren’t interesting and there are too many that are too similar to each other. Exciting because occasionally you find a picture you haven’t really, properly seen before. This is not one of them, although I do like the ‘ceiling’ pattern (it’s underneath a bridge) and I do like how the water looks. There’s water everywhere in Stockholm, thus the city is full of bridges. This is close to where the lake Mälaren meets the Baltic sea. (Known to Melanie as ‘Schlossen’ — or, as we say here, ‘Slussen’! It means ‘the sea lock’.)
