In the new edition of Southern Cross Review, that strange melange of paintings of nude ladies, some not so bad writing, a little mumbo-jumbo, the occasional wisdom and wit, and possibly gnomes, there’s an article that contain almost all just mentioned things, with the exception of nude ladies (for which you have to consult the front page) but with the addition of spiritual, by which I mean alcoholic, metaphors (“The new bottle the wine goes into is you” — how’s that for an anthroposophical catchphrase, I ask you!). Quite an amusing piece. The author was into philosophy and crop circles, it appears.
